Decision Genie is operated by Devan Hemmings ("we", "us") from California, USA, acting as the data controller for your account data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Account data: email address and (optionally) display name and avatar when you sign in.
• Your saved decisions, readings, and reflections — stored so you can come back to them.
• Anonymous usage data on this device (preferences, mute toggle, last-seen flags).
• Payment data (if you subscribe): handled by our payment processor Stripe. We never see your full card number.

How we use it

• To run your account, sync your readings, and process subscriptions.
• To send transactional email (sign-in links, password resets, receipts). No marketing without your opt-in.
• To debug and improve the app in aggregate.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share your readings or reflections with anyone.
• We don't run advertising trackers.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, export it, or delete your account at any time. Email support@geniedecision.com and we'll take care of it within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA — same email, same process.

Children

Decision Genie is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we update this policy materially, we'll let you know in the app or by email before changes take effect.
